All aspects of Jakin & Boaz’ service delivery promote participants’ active participation in their community and support them to develop and maintain independence, problem solving, social, and self-care skills appropriate to their age, developmental stage, and cultural circumstances.

Participant assessment, planning, service delivery, and review will include supports that help participants to take control of and responsibility for their choices and enhance their autonomy, independence, and community participation.

We promote a person-centred approach to service delivery, enabling individuals to lead and direct their supports and services and supporting them to maintain connections with their family, friends, and communities. 

We support participants to own and have full access to their own possessions.

· Pianist visiting regularly

· Holy Communion

· Book reading

· Physio exercises 3 days a week

· Regular access to local community centre activities

· Regular visits by the podiatrist, hairdresser, audiologist and optometrist (extra charges apply)
